Twelve Drummers Drumming in the Green Bay Holiday Parade

Mayflower Nursery School will be taking part in the

Green Bay Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 17th

All students and families are invited to participate!

This year’s parade theme is “The 12 Days of Christmas” and Mayflower’s theme will be “12 Drummers Drumming.”

Every child participating must have a parent or guardian present and RESPONSIBLE for their child!

The parade will officially start at 10 a.m. Volunteers will be at our staging area starting by 8:00 am to assemble the float, decorate wagons, pass out crayons, etc. Hot chocolate will be served. Please arrive no later than 9:15am!

Where to Meet:

We will be lining up in Staging Area #2 on Jefferson Ave. between Crooks St. and Chicago St.

Please allow extra time for parking. Note that the Walnut Street Bridge will be closed after 8:00 am the morning of the parade.

What to Bring:

Bring a wagon for your child to ride on if he or she is not going to ride on the float. Bring warm clothes! Bring holiday decorations, i.e. garland, for decorating your wagons!

What to Wear:

As much Mayflower gear as possible, given the weather…

What if your child has a meltdown and/or wants to drop out?

The parade is meant to be FUN! If your little one gets overwhelmed with the noise, crowd, or the cold, then feel free to leave the parade partway through. It happens every year and it’s completely fine!

All participants must complete a waiver before participating in the parade.

Click here for the GB Holiday Parade Waiver or see Martha at school for more copies.

Please contact Martha or Brian Bartel for more information!

We look forward to another great parade with all of our Mayflower friends and families!
